  • ⛳️ Played [Waratah Golf Course](https://www.waratahgolfclub.com.au) this morning with Travis. Struck the ball reasonably well, and finished under my handicap, but _felt_ like I should’ve done better…those double bogies really stung!

  • ⚽️ My football year pretty much starts today, we’ve got a preseason meeting with the parents and players tonight online, all the teams are back training this week, so I probably need to start giving it some attention. Feels like it gets earlier and earlier each year.

  • Oh my days YouTube is so bad, I can’t skip any ads on the channel that I’m watching a video on currently. Either it’s the channel / creator setup, or it’s a gee up to subscribe to YouTube, either way, it’s gross 🤮

  • ⛳️ Playing my first [simulator golf tour](https://simulatorgolftour.com) tournament(s) today, one that mirrors the PGA event at Waialae in Hawaii, the other a Par 3 tournament in Indiana. Should be fun, or at least interesting!

  • 🗑️ Today I am deleting my Facebook account that I haven’t used in a couple of years, I’ve only accessed Messenger and Instagram in that time.

    I will open a new, very minimal, account so I can continue on in my roles for the football club. It won’t have any personal info on it.

  • Spending the morning listening to _new-to-me bands_ while I’m writing up notes for the meetings I have later today and tomorrow. So far I’ve added [Memphis May Fire](https://music.apple.com/au/artist/memphis-may-fire/216327509), [We Came As Romans](https://music.apple.com/au/artist/we-came-as-romans/314821088), and [In Hearts Wake](https://music.apple.com/au/artist/in-hearts-wake/390853789), all three have elements similar to [The Amity Affliction](https://music.apple.com/au/artist/the-amity-affliction/449513466) who are an all time favourite. 🤘

  • Our new lounge arrives today! We bought the [Bangalow Modular Sofa](https://au.koala.com/products/bangalow-modular-sofa?variant=42883801415816) 6-seater chaise in Green Wattle, the Black Friday sales knocked over $1,000.00 off the price. Just hoping the rain stops when the courier gets here!

  • What’s the difference between dolphins and porpoises?

    I was reading an article about [an oil spill in the Black Sea](https://www.theinertia.com/environment/oil-spill-russia-black-sea-dolphins-dead/) and couldn’t recall what the difference is between dolphins and porpoises…

    > It essentially comes down to their faces (who can forget Flipper’s famous “grin”?), their fins, and their figures. Dolphins tend to have prominent, elongated “beaks” and cone-shaped teeth, while porpoises have smaller mouths and spade-shaped teeth. The dolphin’s hooked or curved dorsal fin (the one in the middle of the animal’s back) also differs from the porpoise’s triangular dorsal fin. Generally speaking, dolphin bodies are leaner, and porpoises’ are portly.
