I’ve gone off on a slight tangent in my efforts to find a replacement to Evernote to use as a CommonPlace book and am testing out Day One and it’s ability to handle various types of info I throw at it, along with being able to recall said info.

So far I’ve been able to capture text quotes and images from websites without any issue, on both iOS and MacOS, I have also intergrated Day One with IFTTT which opens up a world of automated information capture, for example;
– save a daily weather report to Day One
– articles I favourite in Pocket get pushed to Day One
– posts from my micro.blog get pushed to Day One
– checkins on Swarm get pushed to Day One
