Snowed Under!
I’m pretty flat out at the moment, so things may be quiet around here for a couple of days. We have a couple of huge projects in the works at my 9-5 job, as well as all the issues with the Aussie Dollar and share market collapse making day to day business a little harder but hey that’s how life goes and you’ve just got to ride it out.
Weekend Update
I spent most of the weekend up at the in-laws at Gloucester. I played 2 rounds of golf over the weekend, I didn’t play all that well but I guess that’s what you get when you haven’t hit a ball in 3 months. I’m booked in to play another couple of rounds up there later this month so hopefully with a bit more time down at the driving range I can improve on the weekend scores.
The Week Ahead
This week is going to be pretty hectic, a little more than usual actually. Work has me building a couple of e-commerce website for the CPR Torch I mentioned a while back, I also need to come up with a logo idea for it as well so if you’ve got any ideas leave a comment. The best idea will win a CPR Torch, if you’re in Australia.
We’re also looking to get a bit more aggressive with our marketing with all this financial crisis stuff going on. Not quite sure exactly what we’re going to do yet, but it’s a good sign from my boss that we’re going to be proactive in this downturn and not just sit around and wait for spending to go back up.
Hrmm, I think I’m photographing Simple Plan this week at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre, I need to ring my editor at Reverb Street Press to double check. Think it’s Thursday night. It’s been so long since I shot live music, should be fun though and the big lighting rig at the Ent Cent makes it reasonably easy to get some decent shots.
Anyway, that’s enough of a ramble to start the week I’d say. I’ve got a couple of articles in the works so if time is on my side I’ll finish them up and publish them, if not well you know I’m just too busy…or lazy. haha

I love a good viral marketing video, and this one from Rubber 55 is one of the best I’ve seen in a while. It’s a total rip off of MTV Cribs, but still pretty funny
Check it out, oh and even though it’s about gimps, dildos, latex, and other random fetish type products it’s completely work safe…..unless of course you work somewhere where they don’t allow those things. errrm. what.
