This morning I tweeted…
“de-cluttering, de-stressing, and making some life changing decisions. I should read Zen Habits closely, more regularly.”
Well part one is complete.
Inspired by this article on Zen Habits, Coding Simplicity: How to Avoid Feature Creep in Your Life, and with some of the stress I’ve been feeling of late around my work, home life, etc. I decided that now is the time I needed to pull my finger out and get sorted.
So part one for me was clearing out my wardrobe. It wasn’t a huge job, but definitely one I had been neglecting for a while. Surprisingly it only took about 30 minutes to sort through all my shirts, pants and what not, and now I have a couple of bags of clothing that is still in good nick all ready to take down to the Smith Family charity bin down the road.
I’m not sure what I’ll tackle next at this stage, but it feels good to have made a start.
