New portfolio images

This morning I’ve added a couple more images into my portfolio. The above image was a triptych I put together from one of my ’sideline’ captures from the studio christening.
I didn’t manage to get into the studio over the weekend, however I’m in the process of booking a shoot for this week as well as another next Sunday. Actually next Sunday’s shoot should be a lot of fun, I’ve got the boys from Cigars For The Man coming in for some promotional shots for their upcoming ep release. Hopefully I should get some great images form the shoot so expect some more additions to this portfolio soon.

Amathyst at The Cambridge Hotel
Lastnight Cath and went down to the ‘Cambo’ to go and catch Amathyst play as part of the Club Blink launch / Friday 13th gig. As usual Amathyst performed well, can’t fault those girls one bit. Anyway, here’s a few photos I shot, there may be some audio and video to come later on.
Better get back to work, gotta finish the tweaking of this blog, hrmm and I think I’m supposed to do some washing this morning..eeep
Redbubble
I’ve been a member of RedBubble for a little over a year and even though I’ve not had a large number of images up on my account for sale I’ve still actually managed to sell a couple of prints. I’ve done zero pr work, and hadn’t even blogged about it, but someone somewhere found a few images to their liking and have probably since received their order.
After going through my archive of images from the last few years I’ve decided to upload a few more to RedBubble and see if I cant actually get a little more regular income coming in through this method. Who knows it might get to a point where it’s making more money than what this blog, and my others, are doing….that would be nice.
Anyway, here’s a couple of images that I’ve uploaded recently so you get a bit of an idea of the style of photographer I am. If you like any of them you can buy them on RedBubble. There’s also a bunch more images over on Mathew Packer Photography.

HP Pavillion HDX-9200 - the unboxing
Well today I received a brand new HP Pavillion HDX-9200 Entertainment Notebook from the guys at HP to do a product review of it on my blog here as well as on I’m With The Band.
This is the first product review that I’ve done, apart from a few CD and gig reviews on I’m With The Band, and it is also the first video review I’ve done…..so bear with me this time.
The first video, which has been uploaded and can be seen on my Blip TV here, is of the initial unboxing of the HP Pavillion HDX-9200. There will be another video review and a more in-depth review once I get to really run it through its paces.
Ok, so now we have all that out of the way lets get started on the un-boxing and my initial thoughts on this ‘laptop’.
Below are a bunch of photos that I shot to go along with all the reviews, these photos along with the video back on the front page should give you a pretty idea of the layout and setup of this notebook.

This is just a bit of a test post to get the Simpleviewer gallery to embed into a blog post. I’m trialling this out for my music website I’m With The Band as I’m finding that Gallery 2 is a little heavy on the server.
Hopefully there should be a photo gallery embedded below this, though there is only one image in the gallery.
