There was an absolute cracker of an electrical storm that rolled through Newcastle tonight. It went on for a good two hours, in fact it’s still flashing out there occasionally now at 11:45 pm. Yesterday afternoon I went to the local butcher, I think they are Dunn’s off the top of my head, and grabbed a couple of pork loin steaks and a couple of New York Beef Steaks to throw on the BBQ. I’m starting to enjoy my macro lens again, for the record it’s a Canon 100mm f/2.8 and it’s pretty damn sweet. Anyway I was playing around in the backyard again yesterday and grabbed a couple of quick photos. They’re not the sharpest images in the world, but I like them.
