I know the tech gap is widening in our family. Me on one side is so completely and utterly immersed in tech, I embrace everything that I can. The same can't be said for my parents some times. My Dad tries to keep up, Mum tries to get him to be a bit more realistic.

IMHO technological change is such that progressive generations are now unteachable by their parents. Children are unreachably On Their Own.
