A Polaroid a Day
Well today I got married, and every day for the next 12 months I’m taking on a little project to shoot a polaroid of Cath and myself, or something representative of us, for the whole 1st year of our marriage.
We’re not sure exactly what we’re going to do with them yet, but we’ve got a whole load of special polaroid albums to store them in until we make that decision.
So why are we doing this? Well it’s something different, we both love a bit of photography, and after 12 months we’re going to have something really interesting (hopefully) to hand down to our kids some day. Plus hey, polaroids just look really damn cool.
Occasionally I’ll post a photo or scan of some of the polaroids here on my blog, so stay tuned.
PS. The honeymoon is going well, I’m so relaxed right now. We’ve been eating some really fantastic food, lazing around the pool drinking cocktails, and generally taking it very very slowly.

Good luck! With the first year and with the polaroids. Actually I found the first year was like one big honeymoon, the second year was tougher.
I always fail at one photo per day projects. Maybe one day…
Yeh it’s a tough one trying to do a daily type thing for 365 days, I’ve never managed to do it before myself so this will be a big test. I have a load of polaroid film so hopefully seeing that in the fridge every morning will actually remind us both..haha.. Fingers crossed!
